Andaman Memories

Usually known for turtle nesting, it is one of the few beaches within the international, wherein 4 species of sea turtles (Olive Ridley, leather returned, Hawksbill and inexperienced Turtles) come to nest their eggs.

For this reason, the government has constructed a hatchery there and if lucky you can witness turtles laying their eggs (late at night time) or child turtles being set free into the ocean (early morning).

The seashore has volcanic grey colored sand and crystal clean water. This makes it ideal for swimming and snorkelling and puts it on our listing of pinnacle places to go to in Andaman.How to reach there: It is approximately 12km from the Diglipur town, You can hire a cab from the Diglipur town or take a bus.
